Lonely Planet was producing thousands of videos to see the world through short films, but the legendary travel brand needed a self-hosted platform to showcase from. As product and design director, I was responsible for bringing this to life.

Making content center stage
To make the vast amount of content discoverable, we designed several template styles for a variety of categories, page types, and travel preferences.
Distinction for episodic shows
Some programing needed distinct information and fast access to sequential releases by show hosts. We made sibling pages for these unique productions.
Immersing viewers
We intentionally brought contrast to the player view for a better watch experience and continuous video discovery.
